Poi Necklace
Poi Necklace

DESCRIPTION & DETAILS
A celebration of the traditional Māori poi, a symbol of dance, music, and cultural heritage. Rooted in Māori tradition, poi is skillfully performed by wāhine (women), who weave rhythmic and precise movements into captivating performances and dances.
They come packaged in an adorable little eco-friendly glass bottle with cork lid.
Each piece is made from fine brass dipped in 18kt gold, rose gold or sterling silver, covered with a clear tarnish resistance to protect them from the elements.
Little Taonga means "treasure" or "prized possession" in Māori culture. Each design embodies something to be cherished—celebrating the places, nature, and iconic symbols that make Aotearoa New Zealand so special.
MATERIALS
Plated Brass
We love our brass for its malleable and durable properties used to create some of our trendiest styles. To make sure your favourite styles last even longer, we plate our brass pieces with nickel & lead-free gold, rose gold or rhodium.
Give your brass some extra care and it will love you back! Make sure to check out our care guide, as the plating will eventually fade with wear and tear.
